how about moving the disconnector with your finger as you try to rotate the selector. or pull the trigger as you rotate it up

now is it catching the trigger itself or just the disconnector?

You either have to pull the FCG or rotate the selector backwards and lift it over the selector stop and rivets ...

I had the same problem with my Maadi, i had to pull the FCG to get the safety off.

a G2 FCG would fix the whole problem.

I have a Maadi with a G2, I think you"ll still need to notch the flat on the selector ... |

yeah its like 1/4 inch wide on the maadi selector. I looked at my sar-1's and its like half that. Your right , time to do alittle grinding. |
