Hi guys,

At a gunshow today I picked up a yugo ak lower handguard much like this one from centerfiresystems for 5 bucks:

On this centerfiresystems page, I noticed that it says it'll only fit yugo ak's. DOH!! I have a romanian! My question is this: is there any way to modify this to fit a romanian stamped receiver ak? My gun is not in the house, so I can't look at it. Anyone have any insight? Thanks!

Not really, the Yugo handguards are longer than other AK systems.

I would think belt sander and router, and some careful woodworking, and it could be done.
