They look pretty sweet in the pictures. I have fondled a Vector underfolder and it was well made.

I'm still going with another Arsenal to keep my regular SAM7 company after the last installment on the kids braces.

I'm glad to see more milled AK's on the market. It's all good.

Anyone know if Vector makes these milled receivers in house? The mag well lighting cut appears to be pretty authentic, could be reverse engineered from a Bulgarian milled receiver?

Type III AK's don't have a bayonet lug.

For $850 I'd buy something else. I'm not a fan of that gray parkerizing job on the vector rifles... it just doesn't look right on an AK.

It would also be nice if Vector started selling rifles with a scope rail installed.

Sounds like you want an Arsenal, which gives you that option

An Arsenal Classic would run about $1000, so $850 may not be too bad for a Type III clone depending on the quality on these. They look to be FL receivers ...

My Classic was only $700, so my opinion might be a little skewed..heh.

I just hate the finish on the vectors... I don't care for gray AKs.

Same here. You'd think they'd do something different when their finish turns away a ton of possible customers.
