This pol sucks.  After I voted it showed a total of 150% Who's running this vote anyway?
The Daley machine?

Dude, my math sux but it's not my fault.

Fortunately there is a real # of votes on the left hand side of each choice.

I voted for $800.00-$1,000.00

I've never paid over a grand for an AK so I'm hoping to continue that trend.

I voted $600 - $800 for reasons that I explained in the other thread.

Price is no object - if it is something that really catches my eye.

Right now, that would be a Yugo M95 or M85, preferably built by InRange or an all bulgy AKSU74 from FiringLine. There isn't much chance to bring either of those two "krinks" in for $1250, but it can't hurt to ask

I'll be buying at least one of the above in the next few months. I'd definately wait if plans were underway for any of the above.

(In his best Chicago voice impression...)

UH??  Who wants to know?  Yous know these voting machines sometimes will tend to
suddenly fall on top of you several times if you pull the wrong *cough republican* lever.
I have seen it happen in the past to certain individuals and it is an unfortuate type of incident to have
happen to your person.

In the words of HIZZHONER himself, Richard J. Daley.

"Vote early, and vote often."

I too voted for "Under-$1k", but I'd be willing to go long if the product was something I just couldn't live without-- and what is this AK-108 again, exactly? (or whatever it was, 'cause I can't find the original link? And I like RPK's too, and there would be a certain symmetry after SEAK3- and an RPK74 would be sweeeet, if we busted the hurt into four chunks instead of two, or something-- Did I mention that I like pie?)

The AK-108 is one of those things that we will never see in the U.S. - an experiment with a balanced recoil system. Not particularaly high-tech, but simple and supposedly effective.

Fortunately there is a real # of votes on the left hand side of each choice.

And you'll see the number is always the same for the last two choices. It's a glitch that happens when you make a poll with 5 choices. You're not going to have an accurate count.

New thread, new poll needed.

+1  SEAK III was a Krink. There is a tacked thread about it.

I totally missed out on SEAK III due to sittin my butt here in the sandbox, but I would be more than happy to get on a SEAK IV deal. Price Would be no issue since I don't have a wife to squander my savings while I am gone,Crossdawg.

I want a AK103 made from a russian Izmesh parts kit complete with polymer side folder...

Here is a thought. How about a quality Galil build. The kits are out there and ORF makes recievers. Most of us cannot afford a real ARM even if they are one of the top in the AK family. A top builder could make a darn nice clone.

This could work, if we break the payments into four parts instead of two-- but there are a lot of AK nutz who are adamantly opposed to anything to do with 5.56. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Would anyone have any interest in a 5.56 AK variant for the SEAK IV ?

Oh Yes, I think a Galil style SEAK would be awesome! hip

I admit that I never liked 5.56 AKs but since the Galil is suposed to be a nato firing weapon it just seems right. Its probably one of the only 556 AKs Ill ever have (Valmet is the other). We seem to be all over the place for budget on the pole. Maybe we should start a poll on what guns and what prices. The Galil is on the high end of the spectrum on money but I still say it would be well worth it. I have never heard of Galil owners that didnt love the weapon.

How about a clone of the original Russian AK-47 (milled recvr, wood furniture, etc)
I'd be up for something like that.
