A friend of mine has a Russian Sega, (not sure about spelling), AK-47. They don't accept standard AK mags and he can't find them anywhere. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Bill T.

If it is 7.62x39, and he wants original look. There are Saiga Izhmash 30 rds out there. Kinda spendy... from 30.00- 99.00...

I'd opt for using a bullet guide, and metak ak-47 mags.....

Even though I choose to go the spendy way......LOL

Info on Saiga's can be had at www.saiga12.com

So the concensus is they are out there, but are difficult to find, and cost damn near as much as the gun. Crap! Bill T.

ive got a couple of the 10 rounders laying around somewhere,...if you want a 30 rounders you basically have to go thru ruseller,..it is a bit pricey,.. and takes a long time to get here sometimes ,.. but he is a super stand up guy.

Install a feedramp, and trim the mag latch to fit the common metal AK mags.
It is pretty simple to do, just take your time with it.
