Just saw this ad on the EE and as I paid $254 for my FEG SA-85M thought I'd query the experts here...

Has my older Hungarian AK appreciated this much? or is this guy price gouging?

Mike

It's nice but it's not $750 nice ...
On the other hand, I saw a M-5 on the EE the other day for $1000 and I see today he actually got it, there's no telling what people are willing to pay ...

$725 FTF or $825 shipped!  $100 to ship Is it gonna be hand carried! The guy is smoking some strong stuff if he wants that much for a butthole stocked rifle.  Go a bit higher and get a true pre-ban.

$100 could easily be his FFL transfer fee.

100 for a transfer, you gotta be kidding, I charge a flat 20, and so do most other dealers in the area that handle on line or out of state transfers.

He's gouging.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A DEALER TO SHIP A RIFLE.

The buyer has to have it transfered to him.  Not the seller.  You don't need to ship through an FFL, just to one!

FWIW, there has been a lot of adds lately that said $100 to ship.  All I can say, it has never cost me more that $12 to ship a rifle with insurance!  In a hard case!
