Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - SLR-108 vs. SSR-85C-2

What's the difference here?  Anybody know?  Besides the obvious; Arsenal Inc., vs. Global Trades/Armory USA, respectively.  

Seems like they're very similar.  On paper, that is.

My SSR-85C-2 should be arriving shortly.  I'll write a range report ASAP.

Arsenal- Just vaporware right now. BUT made in an original AK factory.

SSR85-  Availible now. Have heard of some minor issues with their guns.Made in the US on a reverse engineered receiver that was "improved".

I would go with the Arsenal.

Don't hold your breath on the SLR 108, they were supposed to be here a year ago, Arsenal has even had a hard time getting out the base SAM series of milled units and it does not look like it will get better anytime soon per what the factory told us.

I would agree with the dont hold your breath thing, based upon how long it took to get 105A1s, and the fact rumored folders didnt come at all, BUT they have 108s on their web page so they have to be coming..eventually.

They have had things on their website before that never materialized and then were discontinued so don't count on it.
