We had a Sig get together & shoot in N.Va (just N. of Quantico) last night and Sig was good enough to send a factory rep to demo the Sig 552 rifle that they sell to LEO/Military/Gov. Here is a link to a few pictures of the Sig:

Like an AK, the Sig has a paddle release for the magazine and an operating system similar to the AK. Regards,

Hey thanks for posting the pic to this forum Tim!

Last night's shoot in Northern Virgina was such a success that I am sure we will do it again - if not with Sig, then maybe with another manufacturer. H&K is here in NOVA and Berretta is just over the line in MD; I am active on the CZ forum so that's a possibility and at Shooters, we host ICORE shoots (revolver only) and they are usually S&Ws, so maybe we'll have a S&W shoot (they will also be making AR-15s and 1911s in 2006).

Anyway, we have a forum at www.shootersparadise.com and also have some sort of shoot nearly every Wednesday night. All are welcome provided they are safe shooters and reserve a slot.

Regards,

D.C. Johnson

Have you ever seen the video of RSilvers shooting his! Granted he uses silencers on almost everything, so he has more than normal back pressure, but still. The sig spit out sooo much smoke the couldn't put his check down in the rifle with out getting a nice lung full of the smoke from the rounds.
