.........look what I made over the last two evenings! If that guy "hotbarrel" doesn't have a CNC machine or is selling these thing for less than $75 ~ $100, well then, yikes!!! Not particularly difficult to make but this was a lot of time consuming work. And Kudo's to "pookie's" website for the blueprints!

Beautiful work!

Wish I was that crafty. I can hardly even work my dremel. I tend to stick mostly to my screwdriver and hammer.

Not CNC, that's for sure.    A fairly big 14 X 40 lathe and about 3 to 4 hours solid of work. It is a blued (not parked) grenade launching attachmanet/accessory for the Yugoslavian rifles. I think a slant brake would be just as "correct". But any Yugo collection has to have at least ONE and I sure didn't want to buy it........

unkempt1, here ya go >>>> pookieweb.dyndns.org:61129/

Kevin_M4, it's done at slow speeds (70 rpm works on my lathe) and heavy tool pressure and VERY slow horizontal feed speed. This is a funky home made set up but this way you see how it works and I don't have to go out to the shop and take a picture!    here YOU go >>>> iwr.ru.ac.za/~iwdf/lathe/knurl/kn000_1128.jpg
