I would like to have the stockset off one of my milled AKs refinished in a red-stained hue. Similar to the Russian laminated stocks.

I don't have the time or patience for this kind of work.

IM me if you can help me out.

Z_Recto - do a search

I believe it's grey_son@hotmail.com (not 100% sure)

He is THE man with Russian wood. Actually, Hopster is THE man as well, but he isn't doing refinishing work that I know of.

Here is what I did to my Romy stock. Strip it with laquer thinner, sand it lightly and used the stuff in the photo. Applied about 5 coats. Tough and smooth.

Another thumbs up for Z_recto. I had him refinish an AKM and RPK stockset for me. They look even better in person.

Hey Corny- whats your application method? your wood looks real good. I have been thinking about doing an sa-85 wood set with this stuff, but wasnt to sure on how to effectively apply it...

Z_Recto,

Your account doesn't accept IMs and your e-mail keeps bouncing. Can you IM me your address, and other particulars, so I can get this stock set out to you?

Thank you.
