$400 might not be enough to get anything real good??? between 500 and 700 opens up some damn nice shit..............i wish i cound afford!!!. look at AtlanticFireArms.com there are other places but im drawing a blank.

there's been a couple on the EE recently around $500. Like Jicky said, Atlantic still has the bulgarian AK74s with wood stocks for around $550 I believe.

The SLR-105 would be the best choice. Buying a Romanian SAR-2 will cost more before it's over, having everything installed back.
