You mean SW-52, right? I also have one but had to send it back for Todd to modify the mag well so it could take AK mags with no modifications to them. For the 12 hours I had it before returning it, it felt good and well balanced but you would think after 8-9 months of waiting that the rifle had all the kinks worked out of it, WRONG. Todd only agreed to do the modifications after everybody on HK54.com complained about it. So make sure yours has the necessary modifications before purchasing it.

Seems there are tons of complaints on all the boards about the quality/function of the rifle. I agree...9 month wait and you should get a rifle that functions flawlessly. Neat idea, but typical SW execution and attitude.

Todd only agreed to do the modifications after everybody on HK54.com complained about it.

i would not let that man build a dog house for me, never mind a high end firearm.

I'm starting to agree Campy. Also since the SW-32s aren't ready for distribution yet and that's what he is holding, not a short 52 like I have, I imagine that Todd is the friend he is referring to.

I was up at Rapid Fire yesterday.

I watched them repair a Special Weapons SW-5 for a customer. All I hear about these weapons, is when you buy it....it does not work.

My brother bought one of them chambered for .45ACP (SW45). He could never get it to function. He returned it for a refund.

Jim, does your 52 run? Mine sure as hell does'nt, some mags work better than others, but you can't run an entire mag through it w/o a jam with any of them. Everything is tight and straight on mine, and looks really good, I just can't get it to run worth a damn.

CIB-You need to return yours ASAP to Todd because FTEs and the mag issue are the problems he supposed to address with the modifications he's doing. I'm surprised that Wendy at Tactical didn't try and contact you about this.
