I want to say that there is one somewhere, but I may be confusing the idea of a AK RIS with a picture that I saw long ago of a RIS for a Mini-14. Hopefully, someone else knows the whereabouts of a AK RIS.

KAC had one in the works and I called and emailed religiously every couple of weeks until they finally said they didn't have enough people interested in it and were putting more effort into other projects. There is an aluminum airsoft AK ras selling for about $15 but I haven't heard of anyone that owns one whether for AS or real gun that could give us an idea if it's any good.

RPB sells handguards with picatinny rails and verticle grips. No pics, so who knows what they look like?

Innocent, that is the picture I remember seeing! For some reason I thought it looked like a Mini-14 RIS I had seen elsewhere. It is a shame Knight's did not try a small production run to see if people would catch on.

B&T makes it. I spoke with them today via email and they sent me a picture. I didn't see it on their website. They told me DSA is their distributer so I called DSA today and the girl told me they only have 4 rail handguards for a Benelli shotgun right now but should be getting more B&T products soon. I guess they just started carrying their stuff. She said she didn't know how much they would be selling them for. I emailed B&T back for a MSRP but haven't heard back from them.
