hesse built an rpk. sadly, the trunnions were puddle welded into the stamped receivers. and the rpk trunnions were altered to fit in hesse's akm receivers. truely a waste of romanian rpk part kits.
maadi built the rpm and rml 20" akm's. both are not authentic copies of an rpk but do give the appearance of one.
norinco models included the nhm-92 and long bbl. version of the bwk-92 (available with wood furniture that was astoundingly odd looking from both boyd's and biship.).
gordontech, blue ridge precision and a third builder name escapes me at the moment) also dabbled in building the early 'good condition' (read: bbl. bores still in good shape)romanian rpk part sets. i have one of these, by an unknown builder, on a milled slr-101h receiver
lastly, there are 'real' semi-auto rpks for thise those with a few dinars in their pockets. these include the pre-ban norinco, valmet and yugoslavian rpk clones. figure $2200-3500.
there are also the post-ban yugo m90 rpk's...but the prices are usually the close to or the same as the pre-ban ones.
