Can you beleive I bought that height guage and a whole tool chest at a pawn shop for 125.00. There was a 0"-6" depth mic. set. A set of std mics. 1"-4". A butt load of taps a full set of tap guages. Four sets of 123 blocks and an angle plate. A shit load more that I can't remember.
I got the surface plate at the same auction I bought my lathe at. I bought a couple of shop tables for 50.00 and the plate has a wood top for it and it was one of the tables. I guess I get lucky some times.

I got my Enterprise for 1800.00 it cuts metric. It also came with a collet chuck set up and shit loads of tooling. It came from a factory that built microphones. It was used very little. It was three phase though. I used a static converter but it was 6hp to begin with.
