Any news on the gas piston Campy? Im thinking of getting one for my Bulgarian kit (which is finally going to be built.)

A US copy of the Saiga piston would be an improvement. I left the Saiga piston in my last conversion and the absence of the groves (I like to call them carbon collectors) makes cleaning a dream. That’s probably why the Russians changed over on the 100 series?

For anyone knowledgeable, does upgrading the gas piston on an AK make a meaningful improvement? How difficult are they to install?
