I know you've probably had these questions asked many times. It's hard for us newbies to really tell who you guys are talking about sometimes because you change the names around so much.

yes, it gets very convoluted...and in all honesty i have only metioned about 10% of the cast of characters involved in this passion play. figure in screen names, real life names, multiple login/troll alias names and things get confusing in a hurry!

I guess if I knew everyone over there and knew the history I could probably figure it out...

with the dotnutz crew deleting, altering/editing, lying and whatnot. it's difficult for outsiders and newbies to get a grasp on the ghostlike facts that are still floating around the web.

this is what thornton counts on...short memories and deleted/purged memory banks. his lies live on thru the many people he has lied to and treated poorly...and get brought up every time he pulls a boner like this bullshit with the falfiles.

fortunately for us, he is his own worst enemy.

It's too bad that we weapons enthusiasts have to have so much discord considering the effort our enemies are massing against us in the press and congress. Divided we fall you know...

regardless of the morons in our sport...and there are many...i do my part to fight the liberals. as far as something like a pro-2nd march on washington...i would march with thornton.

as soon as the march was over i would take a quick shower to get any stench off of me and get as far away from the likes of him as possible!

there are many gunowners i will not associate with in real life....because they are morons. it does not matter if it's bicycle racing, my harleys, my job as a design engineer...if there are idiots involved, i'm as far away from them as possible in as short a time as possible.

i do not like moronic, overbearing braggarts regardless of the aspect of life i'm involved in.

I guess quite a bit has happened and people are people wether they own guns or not...

agreed! i spent many an hour laughing heartily at the rantings of men that were easily manipulated. fortunately, i (and other friends of mine) had the foresight to save much of the hilarity onto our drives. someday...maybe i'll compile a 'greatest hits' cd-rom.

sadly, the reverse is true of what i'm hearing about the dotnutz.

Pardon the newbie question from me, but I lurked over there at one time during the Troll Wars...........what got that started?

there was a fellow that went by the name of 'noah' that got into a disagreement with ho dung rant (hdr, the "supermod", waterever the hell anything as gay sounding as a "supermod" is).

basically, ho dung and his gang of camp hyenas had it in for this kid and they went after him, trying to troll him off the boards. the kid (a rotc washout?) stood right in ho dung's face, and this infuriated him and his little band of hyenas even further.

well, the end result was a bunch of the board regulars saw the level of attack from the hyenas as unjustified and they sided with the noah kid. this pissed off the hyenas even more.

soon, i sided with noah, not so much because noah was either right or wrong, but because the hyenas were acting like 10 year olds on the school playground.

attacks and counter-attacks were launched. since the moron, duhthorn, sided with "the vets"...well, that only sealed the deal and more board regulars joined what came to be known as "the campytrolls" or "the troll army".

then, some creative genius put up "the doll posts". this series of passion plays that literally sent ho dung rant, duhthorn and the entire pack of hyenas into a frenzy...not unlike those seen on "when animals go wild".

the attacks, rantings and bannings reached a crescendo...all the while the campytrolls were trading i.d.'s and laughing at the pack of hyenas.

again, the blood pressure level of the hyenas shot off the scale as they tried transparent scheming and counter-posting tactics that only got them bashed and laughed at by even more people.

they used stupid military jargon and their thoughts were rarely coherant in thei posts. it was a pathetic sight to see...a bunch of disgruntled old braggarts getting their asses handed to them on a daily basis.

i think the public ridicule finally drove a few of them off the deep end.

it was even rumored that, at one point, the old board owner trolled on the side of the campytrolls. i received many emails of support and requests to join the troll army, back then.

but, in the end, i grew weary of the daily routine of getting ho dung's blood pressure up and duhthorn ready to blow a fuse.

i knew i could never win. i always knew that. you can't fight city hall when the fat assed mayor deals from the botom of the deck. no biggee.

but...i had faith then, as i do now, that truth is on the side of the just. and the truth is what the nutz need to hear. sadly, with the circular piece of furniture running the nutz, i doubt the truth will filter thru the banned word list anytime soon.

oh well. the nutz have fredsanford to keep themselves amused with.

i find it ironic that the gang of hyenas dogged some poor kid that didn't get thru rotc...yet, they kiss up to a guy that lied about being a usn seal. weird...huh?
