They seem to have plenty of stripper clips but, no guides; which makes the whole process kinda clumsy.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks to all.

No luck. Any other ideas?

How did these things suddenly become so rare?

Thanks again.

Try these places. www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=93&t=54082

I had no idea they were getting that hard to find. They haven't been brought in since about 1995, so most have been bought up.  I remember the days when we would give them away by the dozens when someone would buy an SKS!

Thanks kindly for the info, OB. There's a bunch of stripper clips available but not, it would seem, a single AK47 guide to be had in North america.

I'll keep trying.

If you are talking about the guide to go on the mag.  I think I have a few.  I have no need for them. If I can dig them up I think I could part with them easily.

Sailor,

If you come up with a place that has some stripper clip guides (the guides for the magazine) please post it here or email me directly at [email protected] ....I'm trying to score a couple as well.

Sailor, Gun parts has them for about what I paid for them. Since they would have a business rate on the shipping it would be cheaper to buy off them and have them shipped.

I have $5 each in mine.  If you should feel the need to buy more than they have, I will let them go for that price plus actual shipping.

I thought I had gun parts on that list.  I better go add it.
