Bought a old Maddi about a month ago, shot great but the finish was pretty bad.
So, after a week of playing around with an airbrush and Duracote..... Any shine is a result of the flash, the finish it's self is pretty much about as flat as you can get it.

Wow, that was a bold move on your part. Personally I think it will look better after a little wear. Camo needs wear to look right, IMO. Good work on the application.

that is pretty nice.
i have an old SAR-1 that I was thinking about hitting in balck and grey. did you do a base in tan and then brown? vice versa? or is neither of them a base coat? |

Did it completely in desert tan, then put on the brown, and finished up with desert mint (subdued green).
