i believe the "3" is a cyrillic "e" ...thus, "ekn", the stocking prefix number for some of the kobra series.
as to 'which' model, tantal [email protected] could pinpoint which series and approx. import date far better than my guess. example: kalinka sells a weaver rail mount version, model EKP-8-18 |

Unless you want to spend twice as much on an Eotech, YES!!
Just get a new battery from Radio Shack (Swiss lithium for $3) as a backup. My orig commie battery died hard; I have not killed the replacement yet. |

the second gen kobra is awesome. i like it better than eotech and aimpoint collimator sights.

Aimpoint is a collimator sight, the EOTech is a holographic sight (different technologies used to produce the dot). I'd agree with Lumpy - we could definately debate that one. |

Was it this one on Ebay? I was tempted to bid but they said it had no battery and wouldn't get one to verify that it worked.
