your father could mill out the magazine well opening in 10 minutes.
the mag catch lever may or may not require shortening. you may, or may not have to rivet/weld a feed ramp in place. some wasr-10's have them from the factory and some do not. lastly, you be required to add the requisite number of usa manufactured parts (5, with no muzzle deice). |

Are you 100% sure it won't take hi caps. I have the same model WASR and mine accepts hi caps. Some guy told me it wouldn't take a hicap at the range when i first took it out. I was laughing my ass off as i popped in the 30rd mag that came with the gun and than emptied it.

I know about the two different versions. Just wondering if you knew for sure you had one or if somone told you it was a non hicap like they tried doing to me. Just wanted to make sure so you didn't mess up the gun or anything. How do you like it so far? I think the one i got could be better, but i'm not a huge ak person either so for what i got and what i use it for it works.
