i've got to say it...the bulletfest crowd did a great job of tarping off their shooting positions and of picking up their brass and other trash.
even though there wasn't nearly enough trash drums on the line, folks were courteous enough to pile their trash right next to the drums!
initial cleanup on the sunday/monday/tuesday following bulletfest had us dragging 5 or 6 pickup truck loads of bagged trash out to the dumpster.
we also placed 8 drums of brass out on the berm to be hauled away to the scrap yard with the targets.
by the thursday after bulletfest the berm was clean of all but what has to be raked up and hand picked into 5-gallon buckets.
due to nearly constant rain, and our need to play catch-up on farm/ranch chores, the snodes and i have had to put off final firingline cleanup untill the past few days...and it's STILL raining nearly every day here!!!
again, i would like to thank those that took the time to clean up their shooting area.
in regard to the campground...YOU PEOPLE ROCK!!!
other than a few small scraps of paper and stuff, that hayfield was in perfect condition!!
those who camped are to be comended for their scrupulous efforts to keep the farm looking beautiful.
don't worry about the mud ruts from those that got stuck. gary will take care of that next time he discs and re-seeds.
and the snodes would like to thank you for all the thank you cards and emails they have received.
