Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - New SAR 1 Questions?

Are the Front Sights and Gas Blocks on the newer SAR 1's still canted.I'm thinking of getting one and will have to order it so I won't be able to pick thru several.I hate to order one in and have to ship it back cause I'm not willing to fix whats wrong with a new gun.So I was just wondering if this is still a problem with these rifles.Any imput would be appreciated.Thanks! posum58

while quality has improved, i don't think there is a 100% chance of getting a perfect one.

order from aim surplus and specifically state that you want oin hand selected for straight sighrs.

this improves your odds and aim's return policy is among the best in the biz.

Thanks for the info! I called my FFL buddy and he said we could deal with this Aim Surplus.
