I need a good way to get the grease off of the AK stripper clips I just purchased.  I tried gasoline and know I can't get the gas smell off.  I heard that the gas fumes are not good for ammo stored in an ammo can.  I need some input, Thanks!

it's a heavy duty household degreaser.
it's cheap and it works good.  you can get it at hardware stores, drug stores, just about everywhere. for your aplication you can dilute it with water and soak your parts for a day in the stuff.
simple green

some automotive stores sell carb cleaner in a paint bucket with a little strainer/basket.  it works like hell but is not cheap
