Polytech 386 double folder,no box or mags. What's the ballpark on this? Bluing is almost perfect,no rust just a few spots lit the sling rivet rubbing the barrel ect.

Two smallish dents were the folded stock hit the side of the hand guard.
I'd say $1200-1,500, rifles with the full kit are going for $2K-$2500

Try $2400+ with no box

Too high being used.

The AK market is slipping slowly but surely right now.

That is a $800-850 tops in excellent used condition

Be sure to check the rivets, sights,,and overall quality on these 107F's. Arsenal quality is hit or miss with the recent imports this year

Perfect, thanks for the advice!

Could someone tell me what is the average price for this model (SAR3 .223). I am seeing alot of vary of prices on this.

SPECS:
Romanian SAR-3 AK-47 (.223)
ROMARM SA/CUGIR in Romania and imported by C.A.I., ST. ALB, VT.

Beautiful rifle and build.Kit gun hurts it a little even though its very well done

Solid $800-900 possibly $1000 on gunbroker.

AK prices are slipping some.6-12 months ago i would estimate it at $1000-1100 and $1200 on gunbroker

Pm me if you decide to sell, might be interested if i haven't bought something by then

Your welcome,i appreciate the support and thank you as i enjoy helping others out the best i can with an estimate

The PAP85NP is hard to price. It really depends on who is looking to buy one at that moment you might be selling it

Gunbroker will net the best prices, the lower end elsewhere

The prices are all over the place.

NIB i would ask $700-900 most of the higher end prices sellers have included a number of mags and a pistol brace included

Certainly don't sell below $700 unless you want to move it quick.Hope this gives you an idea what to ask for it

Pro build will net a completed rifle price like i quoted above.

Hobby build even if a good one will usually net $100 -150 above kit prices so you would be looking at $1500-1600 if everything looks good.

Doesn't mean you couldn't get more if someone just had to have it.Just dont expect much over a kit price, just the way it is

Bought this 1994 dated MAK-90 yesterday. What is the entite lot worth?

1,400rds+ of Norinco and Russian made ammo, ChiCom Type 56 Wood stock with groove for spiker, 100rd Norinco drum mag, two flat back 30rd mags  two 5rd mags, and a very nice condition MAK-90 with goofy shit that I'm going to take off.

Also came with a pin on slant brake. The barrel is not threaded. The pin slant brake can be removed. But I actually kinds like it.

Edit to add, all numbers match. Bolt carrier, bolt, gas tube, dust cover, and gun.

Goofy shit removed and Type 56 stock installed.

Comparing my Romanian 75rd (left) to the ChiCom 100rd (right)

Inventoried ammo count

1000rds of 7.62x39mm 8m3 Effect

160rds of 7.62x39mm HP L.C.B.

480rds of Norinco 7.62x39mm

Plus a small ziplock bag of loose ammo with probably 50rds to 100rds.

Lot to digest here.

Ok here we go-

Rifle alone with goofy crap on it $800-900 since it s square ended receiver

Goofy crap stock pieces-$50-75

400 rounds of Norinco ammo in grey box- $100-125

1000 of the 8M3 which is the very, very hard to find older stuff- $400-500 This stuff can go for as much as 50 cpr on gunbroker.DO NOT SELL FOR LESS THAN .40 cpr on this stuff and do not shoot this stuff for practice!!

56S stock with a fat Polytech grip- $200-275

30 round mags- $25 each

5 round mag- $15 each

100 round Chinese drum- $225-300

160rds of 7.62x39mm HP L.C.B.- $30

On the low end the total lot is $1885 for the lot

High end $2285

Higher prices are gunbroker type sales, lower are private and EE type sales

Curious what you paid for the lot.Nice score either way

Norinco hunter is worth $500-600 on gunbroker.

Most sellers try to get $700-800 but no one buys them at that price unless NIB mint condition

Most of the ads I see for the poly sidefolder version are around $1,100, that said, the triangle folder should fetch you a bit more.

The mags, if all bulgarian waffle pattern, are $45 a piece new, so that's $765 just in mags.

So I'd say you're getting a bit better than market value for a used rifle, considering you can still buy them new.

Personally, I wouldn't sell it unless you need the cash, it's not as if it's another AR clone in your safe.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I already know I'll miss it. I dont need the money but I can reinvest it elsewhere. I have lots of other firearms to still enjoy but honestly my one and only child has special needs so I'm not sure he will ever be appropriate to inherit my collection. I'm a only child myself. And FL politics seem to lean more and more left anyways. So that's why I've learned to letting it and other things go.

Glad to help out.

These are more less Century built kits guns with US made barrel, receiver, etc on surplus parts kits that Century built into rifles

While not a true import like the more sought after and higher priced (Aes10b RPK $1300-1500),these still command a nice price as they are tough to find

I have seen them sell between $ 1000-1200. In the condition yours is in i would ask $1100-1200.

Higher end is gunbroker, lower end EE and private sales

Thats a rare not well known version that was made with the wood hand guards and pistol grip.Nearly all of the 56s-2's came with the red  bakelite hand guards and pistol grip that match the side folders panels.

If you have the outer box that matches the serial number to the gun it will add $200-300 to the price on gunbroker

Unfired in the original box with all the extras, these have been going for $3000-4000 on gunbroker

Yours is a solid $2700-3200 without the box, with the box and all the correct extras that came with it,mags, oil bottle, manual, etc $3000-4000 on gunbroker.

Keep in mind that a lot of the collectors really dont know that a few of these early ones came with the wood hand guards and grip and not the bakelite,so it may shy away some buyers as they think its not original

Very nice rifle, thanks for showing it to us

Probably $800-900

Not being built by a well known shop or builder will hurt the value otherwise it would be $1000+

Its just hard to sell a hobby built AK no matter how good you build it.Might be worth more as a kit with the original barrel, hard to say

Thanks FlyLeaf - Stumbled across this thread after I stumbled across an AK that's been in my safe, untouched, for 10 years. I'm going to sell it and any other AK stuff I may have but I would appreciate a value. Would it be correct to describe this as a: Zastava Yugo/Century Arms M70B1, 7.62x39, RPK styled trunion, grenade sight and demilled flip up night sight? Or will an AK guy not need all that?  Looks like some pitting on the charging handle. TIA.

Your welcome.

Yes you are 100% correct in the description of the rifle.

The DC Industries marked rifle such as yours were made under contract and built here in the US for Century Arms and are very well made rifles. They made the fixed stock and under folders which were marked DC Industries.
Century did nothing to these rifles except market it with their name on the receiver which is why they are good rifles and bring a premium over Century built rifles.

These do have a US made green mountain barrel which i have never head a bad thing about.Very well known to be a solidly accurate made barrel.

Havent seen one of these in some time in the fixed stock variant as yours. Most are under folders that have the DC Industries receiver.

I would say since its in such good condition that i would ask $800-1000 for it.

AK collectors will want one with an original barrel which will bring a bit more money but honestly these shoot just as good sometimes better than an original barreled Yugo.

Start out in the upper price range and work your way down to see where the right price is.I wouldnt sell it for less than $850-900 personally

Hope this helps, its a very nice AK

Not familiar with the used value on the extras you added or even the new cost of those items.

Just going to value the rifle without the other stuff which should give you a good baseline to adjust value on what you paid for the add on upgrades.

New one with the factory thumbhole stock, etc are going for @$875-900

Used condition if you were to put it back the way it was bought $800-825

Now adjust for what you paid for the extras you put on including labor and take some off for being used and add to used price i gave you for a rough ball park figure

Sorry i cant give you a total package price,i just dont know enough about the upgrades to give an estimate
