I ordered an 8 and 12 round from Atlantic, and put a note in the notes field about the free shipping offer. It isn't mentioned anymore and may have only been through shipping (with the shotgun even).
In the end I want at least one of each size mag, and starting out with one of each will make it easy to decide which to order next time. |

The free shipping was for mags to be shipped with the shotguns that customers ordered we alsop made a note on the web site that the cut off date on the free ship was Monday Oct 22 so we could have the orders in and combine them with the guns shipping out . If you are buying mags after the gun has shipped or have not purchased a gun from us and are just buying mags outright then shipping would apply.

Good news; my VEPR arrived.
Bad news; only had the 5 round mag in the box. Still waiting on the higher cap mag that was supposed to come with it since I ordered mine early.... But, Atlantic said they'll be drop shipping next week (hopefully) from SGM... I'll be putting that 5 rounder to use until then

Damn it, this wait is killing me!!!! Where's mine??? Got to be any day now...
Atlantic was out when I tried ordering from them as well, so I wound up ordering through Black Forge. Talked to them tuesday and they said the importer had shipped the VEPR's to them on Monday and should be receiving them and turning them back around (to the customers/FFL's) by the end of this week or first of the following week... So I'm figuring I'll see mine sometime toward the middle/end of this coming week? I ordered it with the factory 5-rnd and a SGM 12-rnd mag. Then I called the other day and added a Phantom flash-hider to my order as well after seeing the one on the picture Liquid posted up if his.
So who's going to be the first one to SBS one of these babys? Man that would be sweet. |

I'm curious to see how that folder is latching on the receiver. I'd think that the bulged trunnion would be in the way. |

Got mine. It is definitely solid feeling and has more heft than a Saiga 12. It is covered with oil.

Got mine today. Looks good. Safety actuation is smooth unlike others that reported tightness. Gas tube lock lever was tight tough. Standard cleaning tampon may not work due to the angle of the lever when locked. Checked the gas port and I saw 5 holes arranged in a pentagon shape. Regarding the factory wood stock, I was hoping that it was just missing the metal parts. It appears the butt of the stock was modified to a flat profile so you can't use a standard metal buttplate.
Looking forward to putting lots of rounds through this weekend. |

Gelgoog We DID in fact put a note in each box outlining the mag drop ship and it even includes a Quote from SGM about the mad design revision if you need this emaield to you we will be glad to send it out . Again one was put in with each gun sent out for customers that were eligible for the free mag promotion .Below is the text of the letter that was sent out Dear Customer We are unable to ship the SGM 10 & 12 round mags with the shotguns due to a delay from SGM Tactical . They were not quite happy with the mag fit and wanted to do one final adjustment before releasing the Vepr 12 US Mags. They hope to see these completed Oct 29-31 st range and your mag or mags will be shipped directly to you . We also do expect more Vepr 12 mags available for sale via our web site after the 31 st. We thought it would be better to send the guns out so customers could start the paperwork etc and the extra mags to follow. If you have any questions please feel free to email our office. Below is a statement released by SGM Tactical I just wanted to give a update on the 10 & 12 round magazines we are making for the Vepr Shotguns. We are going to be running a few days behind on shipping them. I went and test fired them today and we are not 100% happy with the fit.
