We are holding back a few and will release them for sale after we get the inital orders filled . We expect to start shipping shotguns mid part of next week approx after the existing customer order have shipped we will open up some slots on the web site for more orders. We thought it would be best to make sure all pre placed orders are 100% filled and in a timpley manner before offering out the rest of our inventory .If you hit the ADD TO CART button on our web site it will ask you to enter your email address in and we will email you as soon as they are listed on the site .

Ok now I'm getting confused.

I entered my email address on the website when I hit "add to cart" yesterday when trying to place a pre-order and finding out they weren't accepting any more pre-orders.
Then today I received an email saying that per-orders were being accepted again.

Here's a copy of the email I received this morning:

Atlantic Firearms Member

We are glad to inform you that the Vepr 12 Russian Shotgun has been added to our web site inventory and available for order.
Please Note :: All members on the Notification List will receive this email and orders will be reserved on a first come first serve basis it is possible items could be sold out before your order is placed.
To Order the Vepr 12 Russian Shotgun please click the link or visit our web site : http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_category_id=23&virtuemart_product_id=1697

We will continue to work hard to obtain more inventory and exciting items .

Thank You for your Interest in our Product Lines.
Sincerely, Atlantic Firearms, LLC.

Since I entered my email on the order page when it said you were out am I being offered one of these "extras" that you were holding back now, or are you still "out of stock" for taking pre-orders?
I placed an order with another dealer after seeing that Atlantic wasn't taking any more orders, but I'd much rather buy from you instead if I could...

I am anxious for the one I ordered from Atlantic to arrive.

LOL! I am anxious to tear the one I ordered from Atlantic apart, install an AK100, pull the barrel, shorten the gas system, and perm a GK-01 on it! Actual barrel will be 13.5" without the muzzle device. My next VEPR will be chopped to 8" or slightly less. Can't wait to put the evlblkmagic on one of these. I may even do a tutorial on what it takes to put an AK100 on a VEPR 12, but I have to get one in hand and examine it first before I can say for sure. I am excited!

I'm holding out on one till I see what you can do with one.
I'd like to SBR myself -

Just to be sure the SGM mags don't actuate the LRBHO correct?

so are the saiga high cap mags compatible or are there already high cap mags ready for these? drums and banana mags? I know with the LRBHO will not work with saiga mags I am only hoping for some high cap fun.

There are no drums there are 5, 10 and 12 round mags but the 10 and 12 round mags do not actuate the LRBHO from what I've heard. Saiga mags will not work on the VEPRs.

I thought I saw Russian 8 round mags too, albeit expensive. I assume they operate the LRBHO.

I'm being told (from someone doing the testing) that Saiga mags MAY work on the VEPR-12's. They are having mixed results with them at the moment, but with a slight "mod" the do fit.
Apparently some types/models work better than others.

I'm soooo stoked about getting mine! The vendor I ordered through charged my CC today and called to tell me I should see it shipped next week probably. They are through customs and at the importer awaiting delivery to the vendor,,, (not Atlantic, they were out when I tried to pre-order through them).

I got my notification from Atlantic today asking to pay the balance. It said its shipping next week. I bought another SGM mag with free shipping. Balance paid and eagerly awaiting it to be delivered to my FFL.

The Russian 8-round mags Atlantic is showing above look different to me than the Russian 8-round mags I've seen in the past. The one's I'm talking about have staggered horizontal lines on them. Are they both correct (meaning issued) for the Vepr 12 shotgun?

This! Are the Russian 8 round mags Atlantic is selling original Russian Molot mags for the Vepr 12? Thanks!

ones with the lines horizontal (like most molot/vepr mags) are that (5rd) and the 8rds are izzy i believe (stamp on them looks like the stamp izzys have)
not 100% but i think thats the case ive heard

and both compainies (if im correct by them being izzy) are the correct mags for the vepr

The mags sold by Atlantic are izzy mags. The molot mags would have the staggered horizontal ribs.

Much nicer than my converted Saiga 12, there really is no comparison between the two in my eyes.  Fit and finish is truly excellent, the action is buttery smooth.  Worth every penny,  money very well spent.

The Fab Defense extension tube and butt stock seen in the first pic are going on it tonight.  It'll be in the woods grouse hunting this weekend.  A Poly-Choke will replace the Phantom flash hider for hunting.

Been thinking this for weeks, and it keeps getting worse everyday.  Shipping notice should be in inbox in the next couple of days, then the agony of watching a slow moving tracking updates.

Just finished installing the Fab Defense extension tube and stock.  The thicker Vepr receiver meant lots of sanding (its polymer) on the portion of the tube that goes into the receiver.

Sand, check the fit...Sand, check the fit...Sand, check the fit...etc, etc.   I thought I was going to lose my mind.

It's on there rock solid.  Looks good (to me), and feels great.
