You're off to a great start! Depending on your budget, I would take a look at an Aimpoint Micro or Primary Arms newly released red dot with the rotary knobs. I have had great success running a Surefire M300 Scout Light with a Haley Strategic Thorntail SBR light mount.

Is that possible?  If so those 556 versions would be much more desirable.  I would love a 762.

Yours was the one I was curious about, brand new to AK's.  Looks like yours has an AR style mag well and AR Magpul style furniture.  Can any AK accept polymer AR style furniture or only certain models/manufacturers?  I'm looking to buy/build a more modern style AK similar to what you've created and curious what platform I should and shouldn't start with.

The base rifle is a Yugo M85 that came with the polymer magwell.

Other 5.56 rifles can be modified to use AR mags but you need to add a magwell like this one: https://canis-design-group.myshopify.com/collections/magazine-adapters/products/m4-magazine-adapter-for-ak

Ah cool, did not realize it was a 5.56 AK.  How does it shoot compared to an AR platform?

Nicer

Less recoil but it's heavy and the iron sights suck.

What upper and lower handguard are those and which brake and stock? Actually maybe can you just share the entire mod list? :)  I really like this setup.

It looks like one of the Krebs Assneck SBRs to me or a Krebs custom build, but it does have a lot of krebs parts on it for sure.

very sexy and functional!
Like to know how the Battle comp performes with that caliber and that Barrel length....also blast wise.
thx!

Thanks. I’ve ran FSC47, 74 brake and lantac on this setup and like the Lantac for best recoil control but battlecomp for best compromise of control and side blast.
