Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Replaced front site on SKS with Williams Firesight -problem

Bought a site removal tool to remove the front site on my Norinko SKS.  After removing the post on it, I replaced it with the WIlliams Firesight.  My problem is that it didn't screw in as the original did. I had to knock it in with a punch & now it doesn't want to move anymore to the left or right. Also I'm not able to adjust it up or down. Am I SOL???

Never been involved in installing one of those, sorry. Maybe SKS Mod Shotar can help.
