I'm going blind. What can I do to make it stand out more? Model plane red paint perhaps? Does Trijicon or someone make a front sight post that's tritium or already marked off with a white line?

I think I should paint my rear sight leaflet black as well. That's the one thing that was not powder coated on my SAR-2.

I have a few colored front sight posts that I do not use. If you want to try them let me know, I'll mail them to you.

There is no Trijicon sight, besides, it won't help in the daylight, and will only help for the first shot in the dark.  I also have a "used up" East German" night sight.  It won't glow in the dark any more, but provides a HUGE sight picture.  Mr. Magoo could use this thing.  Out to 100M it works fine, beyond that it is to large to hit small targets.  if you want I'll send that along as well.
