bought a boxfull of mags yesterday at auction...A bunch of gooey cosmoline covered surplus mags, some german bakelites, and these chinese 40 round 5.56 mags...plus a large assortment of non AK related mags.
I have never seen these though, anybody?  Attached File Attached FileOk,..now after reading some more, I have another question for the experts.... I do have a couple of aks, mostly all chinese but have never had one in 5.56. i am reading that the polytech mags and the norinco 84s mags are different?...if so, can someone help me identify which is which?.. It's a 40 rd mag for Norinco 5.56 AK. Not uncommon, you see them for sale pretty often. And yes, Polytech 5.56 mags are different than Norinco 5.56 mags. They are not interchangeable.
