I just traded for an RPK and it came with this mag. I would like to know what it is and if it's any good.

ISD Bulgaria commercial 40-rd polymer mag.

I don't think they are steel-reinforced on the feed lips or locking lug, but you can check with a magnet.

That said, they should be absolutely fine for range mags.

I bought one of those many moons ago as a range mag. Hasn't failed me yet. It has steel feed lips but no steel in the front or rear lug.

Thanks guys. I took a closer look at it and it definitely has steel feed lips. I don't see reinforcements on the locking lugs but will try a magnet just to be sure.
