I am interested in Magazines and I ran across this one on Gun Broker?

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=188950422

I have never heard of a Plum Waffle Mag made by the Russians. Does anyone know any information about this mag or can you point me toward some more information?

Pretty rare, there is quite a bit of good reading on the ak forum where the seller of that mag belongs too. He picked it up for a little more than a tenth of the starting price of the auction. Pretty awesome find.

I'll copy/paste the text here in a few minutes in case you are not a member there.

Edit: Just saw your thread over there, guess you are privey to the brief history lesson on these. Fantastic mag for the collection I would say.

That is actually my mag. I too am a collector, but this one is a bit too valuable for me to keep. So I'm gonna' try and flip it to help fund my 50 BMG project. I'm not sure what part of MO you are in, but if you can make it to the Kansas City Gun Show next weekend I will show it to you.

EDIT for grammar.
