To put it bluntly...They Suck! They charge double the going rate for shipping. Their service dept is a nightmare to deal with and full of attitude. They will charge you for your order whether they have it in stock or not. (charge includes shipping fees) If they ship a partial order, they hold your money and make you wait for a backorder that may or may not come. ( but they will tell you they'll have it in 2 weeks) Then it's a nightmare to get a refund which will NOT include a full refund for the shipping fee which was charged for the full order. (Speaking from experience)

Bottom line, there's too many reputable dealers out there to waste your time and money with these guys.

I like ordering ammo in the middle of the night so... still waiting on that online ordering system.

I tried placing a $1500 ammo order with them two weeks ago....they did not have enough in stock (.308, 8mm, 5.56mm) to fill a quarter of it. I went to AIM SURPLUS and had it on my front porch by the next week.

EDITED: Plus, they gave me bulk shipping rate on a 500 pound order.

I buy at the local funshow but don't order. They have a couple of real surly people who work for them. One of them was at the last show. I walked because he was acting like he had a poker shoved up his butt. This one was NOT the usual guy at this show as he is pretty decent.

...reason I was asking was they 5.45 in stock. I just purchased my first ak-74 and finding ammo for it seems harder than finding the dang rifles. This place at least appeared to have it in stock. I have a gun show coming up in Pasadena next weekend. Maybe I'll wait until then to see if they have some.

Thanks for the input fellas...

Dan

I have always had good luck with ammunition store. I have ordered over 10K rounds of different types of ammo with no problems.

No issues here either. I've placed a few orders of 2-3000 rounds each.

I've done two orders with them by phone. No issues. Shipping does seem a little high.

I always buy from them at the shows, no problems. They should be at Tulsa next weekend, and KCR the weekend after that.

It's a great place - when they actually have ammo. Currently, they do not.

I've made a couple of orders. The last I was planning on taking some friends out shooting. I ordered a bunch of ammo from them. The other orders went great... After ordering I had my order at my door 3 days later. This one took over 2 weeks to get so I ended up having to go to Wally World to get ammo. Haven't ordered from them since.
