After many phone calls, internet searches, and travelling the southeastern United States for the past 3 weeks, I thought I now had a recently purchased NIB SLR-105A1R that was nothing more than a good doorstop. Feast your eyes fellow Kalashnikov junkies:
     Perseverance pays off my friends - 1000 round case of RWS 5.45 - $139.00, 20 boxes of 50. An unopened box that had a UPS label from Century Arms albeit quite dusty. Oh and while I was there, I thought I might as well get the 28 boxes of Wolf they had.   What was really odd was they had NO 7.62 x 39. And now they have no 5.45 because it's all mine! I will now retreat back to my evil lair (Dr Evil sinister laughs inbackground)  |

Wow - I knew that RWS Dynamit Nobel made some quality ammo such as 9mm in the past, but I had no idea until I did a search how much this stuff sold for. Looks like I REALLY got a good deal....

Haven't you heard about the RWS 5.45x39 recall notice?
Since I'm the designated RWS representative for the Southeastern US, you can just send it to me and I'll turn it in. nice score.

I have seen no RWS in person since I bought some 6 years ago, and still have just 1/2 box as reference ammo.
Congrats! And save it for groups to piss off the AR crowd
