Who makes some "reasonably priced" BC 7.62.39 non-corrosive - say for 17 cents a round?

Was there ever any such thing?

Yes there was such a thing.  A few months ago I bought 2 cases of South african surplus 7.62x39, brass case, non corrosive for less than 12 cents a round but that was being in the right place at the right time.  In the late 90's they imported Lapua 7.62x39, some of the most beautiful stuff you will ever see, at $12 per box of 30 rds. retail.  It didn't sell because I think most people associated a box with 20 rds. and the unfamiliar (to most folks) brand.  After a while the distributors blew it out and I was able to pick it up for 15-17 cents per round.  Right now I don't think you can find Barnual seel case for that price.

The South African stuff is Cheetah brand brass cased stuff. It is brass and non corrosive, Vector Arms (makers of the famous semi-auto Uzi and H&K clones) had some in stock but they are now out.

There is still some of that corrosive Yugoslavian stuff around, brass cased, but its corrosive. Annoying to clean for.

Seems like I heard bad things about Florida Gunworks so maybe not surprising they stiifed you on the shipping, I'd figure Fla to Ga would be at least half that.  But isn't Cheeta Zimbabwe not South African?
