Is it the double-circle 10 that makes it obvious that it is Bulgarian?

Most everything I could just find on the internet was for 54R ammo, but the double-circle 10 mark is in the factory location - lot 09, year 1987, double-circle-10 factory.

Correct. The Circle 10 factory made ammo, magazines, and rifles.
