Hi, I have a problem:
some week ago I have fired 100 rounds of MFS (hungarian cartridge) 7,62x39 FMJ of 1969 and 1973 with corrosive primers in my FEG SA85M.
12 hours after shoot, I have clean all the rifle with WD40.
Yesterday I check my FEG and into the barrel and the piston are full of rust, so I clean another time all with WD40 and I leave a little film of BreakFree CLP, but into the barrel are remained in the threadings some little erosions from rust.
Wath I can do now?
Please Help Me

WD40 is not a cleaner, it displaces water.

WD40 is not a lubricant.

Use an ammonia based product to neutralize salts, then use CLP.

M-Pro 7 is water based and removes corrosive ammo residue. It's a good general cleaner also. BSW
