Anyone got pics of a build using flat-head rivets? I just rec'd a box of them from Mcmaster-carr and I think I'll try it.

I don't care for the big round bulbous rivet heads. Now the tough part will be getting the other side of the rear trunion to look good...

I used some flat head or what they call "Tinner's" rivets on one build ,
don't see why they wouldn't work just fine.

Ace hardware carries them. they are actually just a little over size
compared to the ones from the kits.

I used some on my AMD bullpup to put the trigger guard on the
lower hand guard, looks fine.

It's a lot easier to get a flat head just remember to have at least
the diameter of the rivet sticking out, on aluminum aircraft rivets
we were taught 1 and 1/2 the diameter but that was for a bucked
aluminium rivet...
