Can I get by with just using 18" bolt cutter for a Yugo UF?  I thought I saw somewhere that only the 24" will work on UF's.  Need to know before I head to HF.

Get the 24 inch ones.  Easier all around and you do need to get pretty far down in there on the rear trunnion.
