Maybe this has been already answered, but I can't find it anywhere.

I had a question come to mind concerning building a krink kit. My question is are you legally allowed to seperately(unassembled) possess a krink kit(with the SBR barrel) and a receiver it could fit on. I was thinking about the legal requirements for building a tube gun, which to my knowledge say that you cannot possess an origonal internal diameter receiver tube, and a complete kit (sten, m56, PPSHetc) without filing down the firing pin on the bolt to make it unusuable, and that the ATF views it as illegal posession of a MG. Since a krink(or AMD 65 for that matter) kit couldnt be assembled "as is" without making it an illegal SBR, does the same restriction apply to it?

Pull the folder out of the kit.
Now it's a pistol kit, not SBR.

Even possessing an origonal bolt(in the same house) on a tube gun is considered a MG. I suppose the response to that is give the folder to a friend, but this is more of a hypothetical situation =)
