Thanks for the heads up...this is next on my list of tools to purchase.  I checked out their website and it's still $199, but will go to a local store to see what the deal is.

Got a link?

The coupon link I usually use currently only has a $5 off coupon.
It expires tomorrow, so I will see what the new one is Thursday.

I went to the local HF over a week ago, spotted the "always "out of stock 115v spotwelder and told them how mad I was that they never have one in stock when on sale, and got it for the sale price. I'll post pics of my modified lower tong, using a 3/16th copper rivet as the lower tip. my local small hardware store had about 20 of these copper rivets ...so I bought em all for 3 cents each!

"Coupons cannot be used with any other Discounts or Coupons"

Sounds like you can't use this coupon for items on sale.  Am I right about this?

Good deal, thanks for the info.

Now how do I convince the wife that I need a spot welder?

I bought the spot welder for 149.99 - 30.00 (20%) for a total of 129.89 That includes tax. (119.99 without sales tax).

I just received another 20% off coupon so I might just buy an air compressor.

Thanks for the coupon!!  Was going there tonight to buy a Mill.  Might have to pick up the welder in a separate transaction.

They often limit the use of the coupon to one per month, so make sure you do your large purchase first.

Otherwise it would have to have a different name and address on it.

unless your store checks ID and the brain surgeons behind the counter can remember you, then i wouldn't sweat a limit.

My store enters the name, address, etc. in the computer for an authorization code. I have heard that one of the things the computer checks is repeats.

Got mine as well, $119 - $20 gift card, and I was going home with a $99 spot welder (plus tax of course).  Does anyone have the dimensions for cutting the lower tongs so that they'd work on the AK receivers?
