I am not an AK builder but but am an experienced amateur gunsmith.  I want to build a milled receiver Krink using this kit:
Krink kit from K-Var
I assume I can disassemble the stock folding mechanism from the stamped receiver rear trunnion and re-assemble it in the back of the milled receiver.  What I want to know is what I do to make a  Krink front trunnion/gas block designed to work with a stamped receiver work with the milled receiver?  The front trunnion is missing from the kit, I'd have to buy a part to work with the milled receiver and it would have to have the hinge for the receiver cover.

The kit from K-var is also missing the front sight, bolt and trigger guard but those are minor issues.

Thanks for any help.

The only milled receiver that would work with that kit is from firing line.

You don't need a trunnion for a milled receiver (the barrel goes directly into it), but you will need a hinge block. Don't know what you can use for that. You'll most likely have to wait till/if kbar gets them.

id luv to tell you alot of good thangs
but that just isnt in the cards today

kvar has sold alot of those kits so the hinge block and fsb are worth almost as much as a krink kit
(supply and demand you know)

also you need an ak smith to build it for you
a milled krink isnt a first build gun hell it isnt a 5th build gun
its all new parts and vary spendy 1's
