So am I crazy to think this or what?  Last night while dismantling a Romy kit, I got to looking at the rear receiver piece I had taken off and wondered if I could trim it down and weld it to my ugly odd cut wum-1 receiver.  If it works I could add a few us parts and make it into a pistol grip.  What do ya guys think?  I do have some sheetmetal/fabrication/welding experience after completing a ground up restoration on a muscle car.
