Wow he had a lot more problems than I did, my receiver had the rear trunnion installed already.
And I used the trigger guard that was on the receiver, just swaped the mag catch from the kit to the new receiver.
I didn't like the pure blonde wood so I striped it and added a little color.
And for a scope mount I used a regular AK type scope mount like this one with an adjustable quick-release lever. (adjustable so it will go over the larger rail)

The only problem I found with this mount was, the rail doesn't have a stop pin on it so after 10rds or so the scope & mount would slide forward and fall off of the rail.
So I drilled a 1/16th hole through the top channel of the rail and installed a pin in the hole for a stop.
It shoots great now, still working on adjusting the scope. I have it dialed in to putting 10rds in the dia. of a soda pop can @ 100yds.
