has anyone had problems with this? i've checked out the archives and done some searching... i read a lot of good things.

any bad experiences?

as it removes material thru mech action, you should not use it for everday cleaning. Follow that and all will be well.

I used to keep it on hand for when I bought a neglected used rifle that really had a rough barrel. Wouldn't use it on a regular basis on a barrel that was only "dirty" though. Just my $.02...

Yep, I agree with what those guys said. The stuff is also good for helping to break in the throat area of a barrel.

REMEMBER, if used in a gas gun shoot a squirt of your favorite stuff down the gas tube to clear the gas port clot that will develope there.

so the rule is bore paste rarely and bore brite for routine cleanings? or is there another regimend i should consider?

that works. I usally use a CLP like fp-10 or bf clp and butches bore shine for my detail cleaning every 1k or so.

I never use JB
