I was cleaning out a range bag and found a web gear cleaning kit in it. Looked inside and found an almost complete M-16 USGI kit (missing the patch end). Also had a surprise.
How many of you remember these things that were in every cleaning kit issued?     Sometimes I don't even know what I have stuck in places I haven't looked in in years. |

I still have my operators manuel for the M16/M16A1 when I was in. I have my first cleaning kit that was issued to me that would hook to the LBE gear. I will have to say I forgot my Battle site zero though..LOL..WD

You had cleaning kits!! [shock]
When I was in the service, we weren’t issued cleaning kits with our M16’s. And I truly wish I was joking about this!! [pissed] |
