It never did this when brand new.. but for the last 2-3 range outings it has... I never shoot much maybe 1-2 boxes at the most.. but I don't plaster the upper reciever with CLP so why's it throwing it back at me?? Does this happen to those who say they generously lube the bolt carrier etc??? I can't understand it..

Sounds like you're using a bit much CLP on the b/carrier and its spraying back out of the charging handle slot.Happened to me a lot when I got my first AR and overlubed it religiously. Now I usually just spray a rag generously with CLP and wipe the bolt carrier and bolt down. Just enough to do the job, not enough to really look wet. Besides, too much CLP attracts the dirt, grime, and powder residue that I hate to scrub and also causes reliability problems. I suggest being a little less generous is all.
