I will post this in troubleshooting since I have respect for the folks here and the information I get.  I am interested in threading an Oly Arms Stainless Ultra Match (SUM) barrel for a muzzle brake.  I have done some basic thread chasing and pipe threading in the past but the idea of one chance at threading a really nice barrel gives me pause to think and plan a little.  Brownells has a threading die but I am concerned about getting it to start cleanly.  Any tidbits of ideas are welcome,  any experience along these lines?

Thanks,

Rick

ADCO,Your barrel has to be the proper diameter to start the die! ADCO wont mess it up.
