anybody ever had this done? A buddy has an old 1915 model winchester in .22 WRF and the barrel is shot out. The chamber is pitted and won't allow a fired case to be extracted without prying it out. If it's cost effective he would like to get it restored for his kids to use otherwise he'll just hang it on the wall.

Any estimates of what it costs or names / recommendations of who to use?

Thanks for any info.

I have done barrel relining in 22LR and some other calibers. It is not too difficult, but, you need a lathe and some other tooling to do a correct job. Cost will vary. Charles.
